Description
Quality handcrafted in 925 sterling silver and rhodium plated to prevent tarnishing. Solid natural pipe boulder opal crystal with bright green flecks (not a doublet). The opal is from our mine in the Quilpie district in western Queensland.
Pipe opal occurs when fragments of tree roots or any organic material are trapped in sediments on an opal level and in time some of resulting cavaties are replaced by potch or precious opal.
